for Tea Talk each Thursday!
I'm having...Carrot and Kale juice, served up from an 8 oz jelly jar. The extras that I made are capped and in the fridge.
I'm feeling...much lighter, emotionally! My visit to the Dr. on Monday went the best it could have...she could not feel ANY lumps, ANYWHERE! She also told me that since the lumps were in both armpits, and even in size, it was not likely cancer as that presentation would be extremely rare. We had a good visit, and she really took her time talking with me and asking lots of Q's. I liked her.
I am a nurse (I worked critical care for almost 10 years before I retired when my first child was born), and I used to have the utmost confidence in physicians and the medical world! Now, almost 20 years later, I have an absolute fear of ever having anything to do with that world. How things have changed. But I am grateful that, for this moment at least, it is not a world that I have to battle. I will continue on the Hallelujah Acres plan, slightly modified to add grassfed organic meat twice a week. Twice now, God has used it to rid me of lumps and bumps. Now, I am asking Him to use it to keep lumps and bumps from forming.
On my mind...Praying for my youngest, Nathan, who will take his ACT college entrance exam on Saturday. He desires to go to Engineering School, so he needs a good score.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Please place Your loving hand of blessing upon Nathan. Please help him to be relaxed. Please help him to do what You have gifted him to do, and to do it fast as this test requires. Please help him to recall the things that he has learned over the years, and to make a good and accurate showing of his abilities on this test. He is Yours, his path is Your path for him. We love You, Father, and we thank You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
(Philippians 4:4)
My silly dog, who always likes to come to Tea Talk. She's waiting for me to give her the carrot pulp which is left after juicing the carrots...her favorite snack!
