A Month of Thanksgiving ~ Day Fifteen

This post is part of a giveaway hosted by my friend Tamara at Branch of Wisdom .

Today I am thankful for the way God causes me to be inspired to learn about new things. Because of my feelings of unhealthiness combined with a growing lack of trust in the medical field (and I'm an RN), I've been doing a lot of reading lately about our body's own natural healing.  It's leading me to the world of herbology, and I'm getting fascinated with the idea of learning more! I love to read, and have been a little aimless lately as to what subject I should dive into; so this new direction from Him is a welcome blessing!

Hi Lori,
I am also a nurse. Not worked for a long, long, time however kept up my license. I too lean to a more natural approach to health care also being wise to know when to use sound medical advise and treatment... Keeping a balanced approach as it sounds like you have also...

Blessings,
Virginia

I understand how you feel Lori! I try not to take OTC meds and I am always skeptical of taking anything new!

I try to do most natural alternatives if I can.

I have been going this route for about two years now and so far, I must tell you it works!

This is an exciting new road, but always remember to research first before trying anything new and bathe it all in prayer! :)

Dear Lori...My husband and I also have read about and have tried to learn more natural ways for our health care. I always like to read what others share along this line and then try to make wise choices in what we choose to do! Simple blessings ♥ Teri
